Our R&B "La Melagrana" is situated on a hill overlooking San Cassiano, a district of Brisighella, surrounded by nature and boasting breathtaking views. Here, you will find peace and tranquility in lovingly furnished rooms featuring restored furniture. The building, dating back to 1890, is enveloped by a park-like garden with a large swimming pool, sheltered by a 14-meter-long hedge of pomegranates that provides privacy.
Just 10 kilometers away lies Brisighella, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, filled with excellent restaurants and intriguing cultural events. Our home is conveniently located near the Vena del Gesso nature reserve and limestone cliffs, making it an ideal starting point for exploring the area.
Our establishment is perfect for a relaxing getaway in a refreshing and soothing environment. It is ideal for those looking to recharge in a quiet and comfortable place, perfect for lovers of silence and nature, while still being close to charming cities like Faenza, Forlì, Ravenna, and Rimini.
We offer spacious rooms of 30 square meters with private bathrooms, free high-speed Wi-Fi, on-site parking, a large garden with a terrace, and a sizable swimming pool. Upon request, we can arrange trekking and cycling/mountain biking excursions to explore the beauty of our landscape.
Our three rooms are equipped with hairdryers and internet access. One of the rooms features bunk beds, making it perfect for families, while another has a comfortable sofa bed that accommodates up to four people.
Every morning, we will greet you with a delightful breakfast. Your four-legged friends are welcome. The German hosts speak fluent Italian, English, French, and German, ready to welcome you with warmth and professionalism.
Our breakfast consists of fresh, regional and/or organic ingredients. In addition to bread, cold meats, cheese, organic jam and special spreads, you will also find fruit salad, yoghurt, carrots, tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers. We also serve vegetable and fruit juices. Organic tea, coffee, cappuccino or orzo are a matter of course for us. Please contact us if you have any food intolerances. We will be happy to cater for them.

This room has a soft and relaxing atmosphere like the morning sky just before the sun rises. It is furnished with an extra-large bed measuring 200 x 220 cm. It is 30 square metres in size and is located on the first floor of the house.
The "Melagrana" (pomegranate) room is a tribute to the many pomegranate trees on the property. Decorated in soft green with accents in red and reddish brown, it has a 180 x 200 cm bed and a very comfortable sofa bed (160 x 200 cm). The room is 30 square metres in size and offers a wonderful view of the countryside.
This blue room with white and gold elements is located on the second floor and offers the cosiness and clarity of the moon. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer a beautiful view of the valley and the entrance gate. The room is divided into 15 square metre rooms and is therefore very suitable for a family or friends. Firstly, there is a room with a bunk bed made of solid beech, which offers space for two children or two more people. There is also a couch and two armchairs. There is a 180 x 200 cm bed in the next room, from which you have direct access to the bathroom.
I, Jurgen Spriestersbach, and my wife Anke are lovers of Italian culture and lifestyle. In May 2024 we realised our dream and emigrated to Italy. We found this beautiful property and are happy to be able to offer it as a room & breakfast. We also live in the house, but appreciate the privacy and respectful treatment. Our home is located near the impressive natural reserve (Vena del Gesso Regional Park), renowned for its stunning karst formations, wildlife, historical ruins, and a gypsum vein that stretches for 20 kilometers.
Picturesque towns such as Faenza (30 minutes), Forlì (45 minutes), Ravenna (60 minutes), Rimini (75 minutes), Cervia (75 minutes), and Cesenatico (75 minutes) are easily accessible. A direct train connection to Florence is available from the San Cassiano train station, which is only 7 minutes away.
